lazy week
Well the Webb's have been having a lazy week. Just been spending time outside in this pretty weather, catching up on house chores, and stuff like that. We also took Maddy to the pool again. Unfortunately, our wonderful gym is shutting down tomorrow! Which really sucks because it is the ONLY gym around here with a pool for us to take Maddy to. She loves to swim! I guess we will be spending a lot of time in the baby pool from now on. Not the same though! Well I don't have much to blog about, so here are a bunch of pictures. Tomorrow or tonight I will be uploading two videos. One is of Maddy doing the itsy bitsy spider. SO CUTE!!
This was from yesterday. We were just playing outside while my husband climbed a tree. Yes, climbed a tree.......

Mother's Day
Happy belated mother's day to all you mommies!! I hope everyone had a relaxing, stressfree day! Mitch had to work so Maddy and I hung out at home. I got a Circle E bird of paradise candle from Maddy, which I think I mentioned before. And from my hubby... I am getting a day at Harrah's!! Harrah's is having a mother's day all month special, for $250 you get to stay at the Harrah's Luxury hotel, $50 to Aveda, $100 to Besh, and a dozen chocolate covered strawberries. I can't WAIT!! I think we are going to book it for Memorial Day. I am SO SO SO excited about eating at Besh. We ate there for our engagement dinner. SO good. Plus I get to gamble haha and I loooooooove that!!
So anyway my refund check came in. The bank said they had to hold it for THIRTY DAYS. Well after complaining and stuff, they said they would only hold it for 10-14 days which is much more normal. BUT anyway I ended up getting my laptop and I LOVE IT! Unfortunately I am having some issues with school right now, nothing I can't handle although I will probably switch next semester or after summer classes. DeVry ended up being a LOT more expensive than I thought it would be and my financial aid isn't going to cover me full time, so I am going to have to come up with a lot of money out of pocket. So I am looking at other schools and realizing that DeVry is one of the most expensive ones. So we'll see what happens with that. I just want to be settled into something and not have to worry about all this extra stuff.
Well here is an interesting story from this week. This actually happened on mother's day. I woke up that morning, got Maddy out of bed, and then let Queso outside to go potty. Well when I opened the front door I heard birds. I mean birds were going NUTS in my front yard. I walked out to investigate and saw that there was a little baby bird in my driveway! Well of course in the process of all this, all three of my predators (cats) have ventured outside. Great. So I don't know what to do, I don't want to move the baby bird because I was afraid of getting attacked by all the other birds (I'm telling you, the birds were FREAKING. OUT.), so I ran all my cats inside so at least he was safe from them. Then he just hopped around the yard. So then I went inside so I could feed my baby her breakfast, and after that I went out to look for the bird again and I couldn't find him, but the birds weren't freaking out anymore so I don't know what happened. But yeah, I spent my mother's day morning chasing cats around the yard in a million degree weather to save a baby bird's life.
Anyway....its late and I'm tired. Here are some pics from the relay for life last week.

Spring pictures and an update!
Well school has been going great! Week 1 just ended and I have 100s in both classes. Yeah! Its the middle of week 2 now and things are still going pretty good. I'm STILL waiting on my financial aid money to come in so I can get my laptop. But I think it will be in here the next few days. Yay!
So....I went to Hammond for Cinco de Mayo to go eat at the BEST Mexican restaurant ever, Casa Garcia, with my sister. My mom happily babysat Maddy for me. I'm not a margarita drinker so I had their house made sangria....YUM! Well it was kind of late when we got back so I didn't want to drive back home so I just slept over. The next morning, Maddy woke up and I texted my mom to come get her, haha. So I got to sleep for an extra hour and a half! Yeah!! Then we got up and got dressed, I fed Maddy her lunch, and we went out to eat at another GREAT restaurant called Sister's Cafe. Seriously...I would move back to Hammond just for the food. Anyway, after that I was on my way home.
Today Mitch let me sleep in late again! And when I woke up I had a present! Maddy bought me my favorite candle for Mother's Day. (Circle E Bird of Paradise candle...LOVE it!) That was so sweet! Mitch had apparently taken her out when I was sleeping to buy it. Don't I have the sweetest family ever???
Tonight was Mom's Night OUT! All we did was go eat Mexican but I had a great time! It is so nice to get out every now and then with no baby and no husband and just talk with the girls! Although I did miss them and I was kind of sad when I got home and Maddy was already asleep. =( Next month we plan to go to a Corks and Canvas (for my New Orleans people) type thing that they ACTUALLY have in McComb. Crazy, right???? I'm so excited!
Well despite all the extra sleep I got the past two days I am still exhausted. I'm going get some apple juice and then snuggle up in bed. Before I go, here are some pictures, of course!!
This was from today. We took her swimming in her blow up pool in the yard and gave her a mohawk when she got out. This time she actually had some hair! YAY!
This was from the other day when I was trying to feed her dinner. Yes she still eats with her thumb in her mouth. I'm kind of worried she will never learn how to chew....but anyway. She had grabbed her spoon and flicked sweet potatoes on to her forehead. Oh my lovely child.

7 month stats
Kind of a SMILE!!
She's always got that attitude in her face!My baby is 7 months old today!! She is 19lbs and 27.5 inches. 78th percentile for weight and 79th for height. As usual, she did not want to smile for the camera. I give up!!
I will have to make another post later. I have CUTE pics that Amanda took of Maddy about a week ago to post. School is keeping me busy lately...and that baby too!
