Ok, it is getting harder and harder each month to take her pictures. This time I couldn't get her to sit still for 5 seconds. So 95% of the pictures I got are of her trying to crawl away, pull up on the side rail of her crib, take her bow out of her hair, or crying for me to pick her up. AHH! How I miss the days where she would sit quietly and play toys.
Now THAT is more like it! haha
10 months has been a really interesting time so far. She is getting so opinionated. She has severe mommy-itis lately also. She always wants "memememe." If I am sitting on the couch trying to do school work, she crawls over and pulls on my leg or pants for me to pick her up. She is getting really good at pulling up on stuff. She is also started "crusing" very very carefully. She still is not crawling with belly off the floor but she can army crawl REALLY fast. She also gets up on her feet and hands and puts her booty up in the air while she is playing, but she doesn't move like that. Something else I wanted to mention: She can now "walk" while holding on to something. She can pull herself on to her winnie the pooh play table and walk it around the room. The other day I was on the phone and looked up and there she was just moving across the room. I was shocked! As much as I try to "practice" with her she always ends up doing things on her own when I'm not helping at all.
We have also been exploring new foods! She is getting so good at feeding herself. She eats baby crackers and cereals, and she gets a cup of "juice" which is really just water with a splash of apple juice once a day. She also loves yogurt melts. Another thing we are working on is gradually phasing out the bottle. I have been trying to do a bottle in the morning and at night only with formula in a sippy cup during the day. Soon I think I'm going to take away the nighttime bottle. She isn't really "attached" to bottles so I think this will go pretty smoothly, and she is doing much better with her sippy cups. The last picture is of Maddy and Pop from when we went visiting in Natchez last friday.Today Maddy and I went swimming with Amanda and Maddy's bff Carsyn. The kiddie pool is perfect for her to splash in and she had a great time! Afterwards we went to Chilly Willy's which is a new orleans style snowball/snack place. I got a grasshopper snowball which Maddy shared with me and it was SO yummy! The best part is that they are opening a real restaurant with a bar and real food! I am SO excited!! A new place in McComb people!!!!! And they will have new orleans/southern food. Yeah!!
Well I will have to end this here because it is almost time to get Maddy ready for bed. We shall see if I feel like doing homework afterwards or if I just go to bed and catch up on my DVR. Haha...I think we all know what will happen!
