Thanksgiving #2 and #3

Well, I was sleeping but now I'm up with heartburn so I figured I might as well do this. Friday morning we went out shopping. The mall wasn't as crowded as I expected on black friday, but we only made it through Belk before Maddy had enough. I got two pairs of jeans and some picture frames. Yay! I STILL have not found a Christmas dress for Madelyn. I went to order the one I wanted from JCPenney's and it is SOLD OUT now. Ughh!!! Everything at Belk and everywhere else is too big. So anyway, after the shopping spree we went home and were supposed to go get Maddy's two month shots, but the appointment got rescheduled to next week. So we hung out for a little bit and then headed out to Natchez. My brother came with us because Mitch was planning on going hunting. Well don't you know the minute we get out to his parent's house, it starts pouring and then there are tornado warnings everywhere. They still got to go, but had to wait until all the bad weather was over. Maddy and I took a nap while they were gone. Then we all ate Thanksgiving dinner (#2 for us) and hung out. Some pictures!

Ok so we got back home at around 10 last night, and had to be up at 8 this morning because we had Thanksgiving #3 with my mom's side of the family in Mandeville. Before we left I had to get a picture of Maddy with her giraffe because she is 8 weeks old today!! My big girl!

So I slept almost the whole way to Mandeville, its about an hour and a half ride. I am exhausted from all this running around for the past 3 days. So we got there and ate lunch, then Mitch and I left Madelyn with my family so we could go run to baby Gap to see about a Christmas dress....and of course they didn't have any. So we went to Old Navy next. No dresses, but I got her a cute pair of jeans and two long sleeve onesies. Mitch got some shirts and I ended up going back and getting a shirt and a sweater. Yay for sales! Here are some pics from Thanksgiving #3.

Also, we got our Christmas tree up this weekend!! Unfortunately since its our first Christmas together in the house we don't really have a whole lot of decorations and stuff, so we just have lights (bc its pre-lit, haha) and some red and gold balls. I guess the next thing on my list is Christmas decoration shopping!
