Well today was GORGEOUS outside!!! Yesterday I took Maddy to swing at the park for a little bit because it was so pretty out. She loves to swing and would crack up when I would grab her feet and then let her go. I love to hear her laugh, it is contagious! You can't help but laugh along with her!
Today Maddy slept way late, which was totally okay with me! In fact, she slept so late that her naptime schedule was thrown off, so we were able to attend our first Storytime at the library! Maddy is still a little too young to participate but I think she likes the music and the people. After that we went with some friends and their little girls to the park to eat lunch and play. Its a good thing I had a baby girl because everyone around here has little girls! If I had a boy I don't think he'd have any friends! Maddy is still the baby of the bunch so she can't really "play" but she likes to swing and just be outside. And I like to have time with other ADULTS! I really hope this weather continues because it makes the days go by so much faster when you can actually get out and do things.
Also, I was finally able to attend my first mom's night out in three months! I missed mom's night out so much when I was sick. The past month or so has made me realize how crappy I really felt for the past year. I really didn't do much of anything except go back and forth to doctor's appointments and hospitals. I wanted to get out and socialize and meet new people in this town but I just always felt so blah. Now that I actually feel GOOD again I am so excited to finally be getting out and doing things. On that note, I had my post-surgery appointment with my GI doctor about a week or so ago. He walked in the room and I said, "You're my HERO!" I asked what he thought caused all this and he said "you got pregnant." HAHA I knew it! I don't think Maddy will ever get a sibling because pregnancy is not nice to me.
I also want to say CONGRATULATIONS to my friend Jenn and her fiance Ed! They got engaged! I'm so happy for yall and I can't wait for the wedding!!
So here's what you really came to read about: Maddy news! Well, she is getting her fourth bottom tooth in. This one wasn't so bad thank goodness. She is always go go go and the second she wakes up she is up on her feet. I don't think she is half awake sometimes but she pops up and is ready to go. She is also getting so stubborn. She loves to press all the keys on the keyboard on my laptop, and well...I don't want her to break anything, so I have to tell her no a million times. She is starting to throw mini temper tantrums I think when she gets told no when she wants something. She will cry and if I am holding her she will wriggle around till I put her down. I am starting early with her teaching her that NO means NO. Maybe this will make the toddler years a little easier to deal with? Ha. She has done well so far with using repetition as a means of discipline. If I have my laptop out and she pulls up on the table and starts pushing buttons, I move her away and tell her no, that is for mommy. And I do this about a bazillion times until she is aggravated and starts to cry or she gets distracted by something else. It is so wearing on the nerves but I think she needs to start learning this now. Of course there are plenty of times where I just close the darn thing because I don't have the patience. But, I try. I have to say that 10 months has been one of the more trying months we have had. She is much more opinionated and...well....just plain WHINY now. Some days I just whine along with her. I tell myself she will outgrow it but I know in the back of my mind this is just the beginning. Sigh. Also one of her new fave discoveries is drinking from a straw. I got her a cup with a straw in it and she has been doing pretty well with it. Oh there are so many things I want to say but then I start typing and forget them all. Ah well. It is late and I know yall are ready for pictures so here ya go.

Maddy in her first bubble bath! She loved it! I went nuts telling her not to eat the bubbles every 2 seconds but she had a blast. This actually happened on accident, apparently her shampoo bottle got knocked over and leaked into the tub, so when I turned on the water it was bubblepalooza. I love her faces in these pictures. I can almost hear the giggling when I look at them. =)
Delilah was actually using my kid as a stool to get into Maddy's high chair to eat the leftover puffs in the seat. AHHH this dog is going to be the end of me.

This was one day after a bath, her hair was wet and she had a little bitty tiny ponytail!! =)

This was an early morning for us, we went with Amanda to a yard sale at 7am!! YES I was up and dressed that early, can you believe it! It was worth it though because I scored 4 pairs of jammies, a onesie, and an outfit all for THREE BUCKS! Yeah!! Oh and by the way, the clothes she is wearing in this picture are all size 18 months. We love when Ms. Amanda shrinks Carsyn's clothes!! haha!!

This was one morning playing in her exersaucer. I think she looks SO much like Mitch in this one.

Eating her brush. I LOVE those big blue eyes.

She's got the life.

Yesterday morning before we went to play on the swings. I don't know how I got a picture of her with that bow in her hair. It didn't last long.

My most favorite picture of all!! We were just relaxing out in the yard one afternoon and got the urge to play dress up. Amanda took this out in the yard in like 2 minutes. Yes my baby is a supermodel and Amanda is the best photographer ever! So here I go pimping her out! She is doing 1/2 off fall mini sessions and she is already extremely affordable so go check her out!
